Adult Education

West Linn Lutheran Church provides the opportunity for adult Bible study and faith development through the following experiences. If you are interested in any of these classes, contact the leaders or feel free to visit. We always keep a chair open in our classes and you are welcome to drop in!

EXPLORING FAITH GROUPS
The Exploring Faith Groups explore the fundamentals of the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective. Those who are considering membership at West Linn Lutheran Church are especially invited. Groups meet several times in a year. Watch for dates and times.

Bible Study - Sunday mornings at 9:30
From September through June we offer 3 sets of 3 new education opportunities that run for six weeks each. Prior examples include:

  1. Exploring Diversity: Good News about Injustice - A Witness of Courage in a Hurting World - led by Carole White and Lynn Haatia.
  2. Faith Building: Lenten Stories - led by Pastor Donna.
  3. Bible Study: Revelation - led by Pastor Tim.

Women's Thursday Morning Bible Study
This group meets on the 1st and 2nd Thursday each month from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. We learn a lot from and about each other during our discussions. This is a very non-threatening group and new faces are welcome anytime. No homework required... not even for the “leader.” Contact Gretchen Dumestre for more information.
