Service to others is the primary role in Christian leadership. At West Linn Lutheran, one of our goals is to engage our members in ways that they can use their gifts to help others. This page lists just some of the service opportunities available in our congregation. For more information, contact the church office.
SOCIAL MInistry Team
Our ministry extends far beyond our church walls. This group of caring people asks how we can best share the love of God and offer a cool drink of water.
Prayer Chain
Continue to pray from concerns written on Sunday prayer cards, and requests from pastors and our web site.
Worship Team
A group of dedicated musicians having fun and leading worship at our late service. All instruments welcome; all vocalists invited.
Church Council
The church council serves as the board of directors of the church. Council members are assigned to support one of the four pillars of our faith community: Proclamation, Service, Learning and Community.
Library Committee
This group of caring people maintains our wonderful church library, with special attention to seasonal displays and acquisition of new and quality materials.

Altar Guild
Dedicated folks who prepare the altar and the elements for communion and worship.
Janus Youth Services
Janus Youth Services offers shelter for homeless teens in the Portland area. Our congregation prepares warm meals to be delivered for the kids.
Sunday Servants
Our liturgy is not the work of the pastors alone, but of all the people working together to create our worship experience. Assist with worship and community.
Celebration and Caring Team
The Celebration and Caring Team coordinates celebrations at WLLC such as New Member Lunches and the Pie Social. We also care for other members by coordinating a Meal Train for people who need meals, plan for memorial/funeral meals and provide other services to those who are in need.
Grounds and Property Committee
Help maintain the beautiful grounds and facility of our community worship space.
