What is Traditional Worship?
Traditional worship at West Linn Lutheran utilizes the various orders for worship in the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) Hymnbook. We try to connect to our historical roots of liturgy and song, scripture and preaching, Holy Communion and sending as we gather to give praise to God.
What is Contemporary Worship?
Contemporary worship at West Linn Lutheran involves a Worship Team of instrumentalists (guitarists, percussionists, pianist) and singers of all ages who lead the congregational singing of more contemporary songs. The "liturgy" of this services tends to be more informal and involves people of all ages in many different ways.
