Easter Season 2021 - "Living in the Love of Christ"
The Easter season is a week of weeks, seven Sundays when we play in the mystery of Christ’s presence, mostly through the glorious Gospel of John. Jesus surprises us with his breath, food, following, and prayers.
GOSPEL READINGS: John 20:19-31; Luke 24:36b-48; John 10:11-18; John 15:1-8; John 15:9-17; John 17:6-19
In the first letter of John written early in the life of the church, we receive a testimony passed on through the centuries that vibrates with what was seen, heard, felt, and touched. We are there, thanks to this word!
SECOND READINGS: 1 John 1:1-2; 1 John 3:1-7; 1 John 3:16-24; 1 John 4:7-21; 1 John 5:1-6; 1 John 5:9-13
The readings from the book of Acts get us involved in stories of people hearing the story of Jesus and having their lives changed. We can look for those changes as the story spreads today.
FIRST READINGS: Acts 4:32-35; Acts 3:12-19; Acts 4:5-12; Acts 8:26-40; Acts 10: 44-48; Acts 1:15-17, 21-26
"Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God." 1 John 4:7

+What is my testimony - the story I have to share about living and loving in this world?
+What is our unity in Christ?
