A team from WLLC has created a late summer and September Bible School opportunity for families to experience together - but on their own, too! It all starts with a get-t0gether at the church on Wednesday, August 12th from 5:30-6:30 pm. Each family will have a station on the parking lot to create their own Chalk Art! There will be an introduction to the theme: "On Earth as in Heaven". And baskets with all the supplies and directions for two weeks of Bible stories, crafts, journaling, and game ideas will be handed out.
This curriculum by the ELCA World Hunger unit features a strong message that we can be working for justice in the world through our church connections. Each lesson focuses on one part of the Lord's Prayer and one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
We will study and work together at this intersection of the world's needs and God's will "be done on earth as it is in heaven"!
