West Linn Lutheran Church Youth Staff Members strive to serve the church community in a positive, respectful, and helpful manner. Youth staff members are role models to fellow middle and high school students by demonstrating that all people are encouraged to get involved in WLLC. Youth staff members gain invaluable work and leadership experience through their active involvement in the church.

Program OverviewYouth can get involved in these roles starting in 6th grade. The program is designed to have middle schoolers volunteering in these roles with the intent to transition into a paid role once in high school.

Attention New Applicants
Are you going into 6th-12th grade? Are you interested in getting more involved in the church? If so, here's the steps to get involved:
1. Chat with Pastor Tim or Pastor Donna about your desire to pursue a role in the Youth Staff Program. If you can't chat in person send them an professional email outlining your desire to discuss working at WLLC. 2. Meet with the Pastors to discuss the role, expectations, and responsibilities. If hired, fill out any necessary paperwork and attend any mandatory trainings. |
Schedules
Remember: If you can't attend a shift you are responsible for finding a replacement at least 48 hours before your shift and contacting wllcoffice@wllc.org with your replacement's information. A no-show will result in an immediate meeting with the your supervisor.
Ministry ReviewsSemiannual ministry reviews provide our youth staff the opportunity to discuss with their supervisor what's going well, what needs to be developed, and to set goals for the upcoming months. These meetings provide valuable career development which is a core part of this program.
